Edmund and Walter Parke did not come from Todmorden in Lancashire. They came from Dorset (south England.) The family estate there was HENBURY, hence the name given to Henbury Station, craters etc. They were the sons of Charles Joseph Parke, son of CHARLES PARKE who first rented then purchased the Henbury Estate in Dorset, on his return from Jamaica.Charles Joseph Parke was my Great Grandfather. |

Dear Lilliecrapp Family,
Your web page gives a very good idea of what the station looks like.I am Shae's mum who as Rick's wife lives at Hillview and would like to see some photos of your workers from the other properties as well.(Just a mothers bias I guess) It was good to meet Douglas at last over the Easter weekend.Keep upthe good work. One day we might call into Todmorden to have a look. Regards Cathy Price. |

To the Lillecrapp Family,
We would personally like to thankyou for giving us an opportunity to work at Todmorden Station Dec 2003 to Feb 2005.
The past 14 months have been a life changing experience which has led us down a new found career path.
We will never forget the experience gained when one leaves the safety of the harbour (Melbourne).
We hope you enjoy this website we have created for you, we appreciate all the effort and content you have provided us.
We will never be too far away.. just visit us at TGTV www.timgentle.com :-) |
